These terms govern your use of ReadTube. By signing in and using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use ReadTube.

The service

ReadTube reads videos from the YouTube channels you subscribe to and turns them into readable essays with an AI co-reader. The service is provided for personal, non-commercial learning.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity under it. You must comply with YouTube’s Terms of Service when using ReadTube, since the service accesses YouTube data on your behalf.

Content and intellectual property

Videos, transcripts, and channel content belong to their respective owners. ReadTube generates derivative reading aids for your personal use and does not grant you any rights to the underlying content. AI- generated summaries may contain errors; verify anything important against the source video.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its providers.
• Do not use ReadTube to infringe the rights of content creators or third parties.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

ReadTube is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using ReadTube and request deletion of your data at any time (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
